Advent Basilica

12-meter-high Christmas tree, light painting, selfie point, an ice rink, quality crafts and gastronomy exhibitors await visitors.

One of the most beautiful festive events, the Advent Basilica opened in Budapest on November 19th for the eleventh time. Winning the title of the best Christmas fair in Europe in 2019, the event has been created by the organizers with the determination to stand out from other year-end events, create a unique festive atmosphere on the square in front of St. Stephen's Basilica, provide quality pastime and special gastronomic offers.

The Advent Basilica houses nearly 100 domestic exhibitors, including artisan and gastronomic vendors. In addition to the popular festive and fair food made exclusively from first class ingredients, gastronomic vendors offer a number of delicacies only available here. Thus, you will find many street food and barbeque dishes, as well as dishes from the domestic tavern culture. In addition to the flavors and aromas, handicraft exhibitors - folk artists, craftsmen, innovative artists - also contribute to the atmosphere of the fair with their unique, handmade masterpieces.

WAMP Christmas fair

WAMP is a design fair where Hungarian designers present their own small series products, be it clothing, jewelry, accessories, home furnishings, photography or gastronomic delicacies.  WAMP is also a community place where you can meet creators, customers, creative professionals and interested amateurs. Where we endeavor to show that design is not an abstract art concept, but an exciting opportunity we can use in our everyday lives. Where everyone can realize that there is a golden mean between fast fashion and luxury brands. Since its formation, WAMP has taken the lead in showcasing the artistic, economic and social potential of design. It aims to bring design closer to the general public, while creating a link between designer innovation and economic operators. As one of the largest and longest-running private design initiatives in Hungary, WAMP also places great emphasis on the social responsibility and the values ​​it conveys.

The Christmas dates of the WAMP fair are December 5, December 12 and December 19.

Christmas House

For the 22nd time, the Christmas House opens its doors in Gödöllő every year in the first days of November, which in recent years has not only become a unique and special, nationally famous Christmas trend show and fair, but has deservedly become a tourist attraction, where not only Hungarians but also tens of thousands of visitors come from across the border each year. Taking advantage of the opportunities of social media, they have developed a stable and very active follower base of more than 77,000 people with many returning visitors.
