From natural wonders to environmental awareness

Rising once more in renewed splendor, the headquarters of the Hungarian National Bank on Szabadság Square—standing proudly beside the Bank Center—has completed a historic transformation, accompanied by the elegant renewal of its surrounding streets. Since its original construction, the building had never undergone such a profound renovation, making the works that commenced in October 2021 both timely and momentous.

A new building energy rating system came into effect in Hungary in 2025, prompting the Bank Center to renew its documentation in this area, completed in March.
