Leadership skills development workshop

Uncertain times – confidentleadership
The biggest challenge for companies now and in the future is the changing market-, economic- and social conditions. At the organizational and personal level, stress, overload, and burnout are typical at the managerial, employee, and customer levels.
How can organizations prepare to be more resistant to changes, to reduce fluctuation and to start increasing performance again? What kind of approach can achieve lasting change and create more predictable foundations?
If the employees work willingly and well, the company can build on solid foundations. One of the basic conditions for this is for managers to operate successfully, to be able to motivate their team, to deal more effectively with pressure coming from multiple sides and the often lonely and responsible role.
The leader is one of the most important elements of the system, their efficiency affects the entire organization, thus a systemic change can be achieved! With our leadership skills development workshop, we want to provide support and tangible tools to those leaders who want to strengthen their leadership competencies and equip themselves for the more efficient functioning of their team and organization.
Positive feelings: Intuition or science?
21 February 2024, 4 pm to 7:30 pm
How is it that some organizations and leaders regularly make good decisions in the majority of cases, and others do not? Are we talking about ability here, or more about methods and the organizational culture that supports it? Or does it all depend on managerial thinking, awareness and attitude?
We will ask our invited guest about this and about what we call the "Nokia decision story". In connection with the decision story, the "good decision" was compiled from nearly 500 opinions when choosing a site in the Far East.
Our invited guest will tell us, among other things, about this case and, in general, about how to make serious decisions with the involvement of many people that yield excellent results, e.g. along a supply chain.
Our invited guest:
József Pap, Head of Supply Chain Excellence and Performance at Nokia
Assertiveness training
The essence of assertive communication is that a person is able to express themselves honestly and confidently, to represent their own interests and standpoint, while at the same time keeping in mind the feelings and needs of their interlocutor. Assertiveness clearly improves the quality of communication. We recommend the training to colleagues working in a wide variety of fields and levels, for whom constructive communication and the expression of opinions are important.
The communication skills of the participants improve and their self-knowledge deepens. They express themselves more easily, they can make their intentions clear for those around them. Communication within the organization becomes uniform and non-violent, and the efficiency of information flow increases. Advocacy takes place by supporting each other. All this results in positive changes in the organizational culture and has a good effect on both the work environment and performance. A supportive, cooperative team is created.
