This year marks a major step forward at the Bank Center: our new two-stage heat pump system has been successfully commissioned and is now providing both heating and cooling for the building. Following the fine-tuning of its various operating modes, we are proud to announce the next milestone in our journey toward smarter, greener building operations.

The system is now being connected to Meteoviva, a cutting-edge, cloud-based building management solution. By leveraging weather forecasts, sunlight data and a wide range of additional factors, Meteoviva optimizes performance to achieve the perfect balance of energy efficiency and occupanttenants’ comfort.

Since the heat pump can deliver results through multiple operating modes, configuring the ideal settings for Meteoviva is both a complex and an exciting challenge. The system is already running in test mode—and very soon, we will have a transition to fully optimized, intelligent building control.

With this innovation, we are not only reducing energy consumption but also setting a new standard in sustainable building engineering.
